On Wednesday, 6 February, the Election Committee will hold two open meetings for the rector candidates Stephen Seiler and Sunniva Whittaker – one on Campus Grimstad and one on Campus Kristiansand. The meetings will be streamed.
On 21-25 January, UiA invites all to a week of exciting activities and experiences. This will be a great opportunity for students to get to know each other and the university.
At the nomination deadline of 14 January 14:00, two nominations had been received by the election committee. The two candidates Sunniva Whittaker and Stephen Seiler will therefore be vying for the position of rector.
On 10 January, the art piece "High Lights" by artist Tor Einstabland was revealed at Campus Grimstad’s library.
Professor Sunniva Whittaker, dean at the Faculty of Humanities and Education, has stated her candidacy for the next rector period at UiA. She is the second candidate who has filed to run in the rector election.
