The University of Agder (UiA) and the Norwegian Industrial Property Office have signed an agreement to strengthen the education of students, teaching staff, administrative staff, researchers and PhD candidates in areas such as trademarks and branding, design protection and patents.
The university director has approved the floor plans for two new top floors on faculty buildings H and I in Kristiansand. Construction will start in spring/summer 2020. Completion is estimated for early summer 2021.
Even if the United Kingdom’s reconsideration of its membership to the EU has not induced other members to follow suit, it is the first case of disintegration in the EU. This is discussed in a new book on EU- research, in which UiA was involved.
