Our zoological collection mainly consists of prepared skin from mammals and birds, skulls and eggs. In addition, many birds and mammals are frozen for future preparation. You can enjoy a selection of these in our permanent exhibition.
Our geological collection consists mainly of various rocks and minerals. The collection also contains meteorites from space, and fossils of animals that lived more than 400 million years ago.

The herbarium at the museum, consists of more than 80 000 samples of dried and pressed plants, algae and mosses.
