This year’s exhibition is “Natural Born Killers”, which focuses on the wild predators of Norway, with certain exceptions. The exhibition depicts the animals and explores their way of life. Some of these animals are currently topic multiple political debates, despite just doing what they need to survive. The exhibition does not have a political stand-point, however it does depict multiple different popular views from the general public, specific to each animal. The exhibition is therefore meant to mostly inform, but also encourage debate.
Would you like to get a guided tour of the exhibition? This is possible every weekday this Summer at 14:00, up until the 9th of August. You need to purchase a ticket for the museum to join the tour.
This year, the Botanical Gardens are turning 50 years. This is celebrated this Summer with a free guided tour of the gardens, every weekday at 13:00, up until the 9th of August.

Our Café sells sveler (a norwegian traditional sweet pancake), multiple types of coffee, fizzy drinks, ice cream, and much more. You are welcome to enjoy the delights both inside the café, or outside in the lovely gardens.
The Botanical Gardens are always open – and for the benefit of everyone, we would kindly ask you to look at the sign for the rules of behaviour in the Gardens, placed by the entrances and around in the area.
