About the museum

The Natural History Museum and Botanical Garden in Agder is located in Kristiansand in Vest-Agder County. The museum was founded in 1828 as part of Kristiansand Katedralskole, named Kristiansand Museum. The botanical garden consists of nearly 2000 plants including exotic pitcher plants framing the garden, carnivorous plants, and herbs.
