Zachary James Bresler

Zachary Bresler is a percussionist, music producer, and musicologist, and his research is motivated by an obsession with surround and immersive audio format. While making music for these formats himself, Zachary studies the aesthetics of music production, the musicology of space and place, and the production of popular music in 3D. He has a bachelor in music performance and music technology from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln, and a master in music performance from the University of Nebraska, Omaha. Previously, he worked as instructor of audio engineering and music technology at Iowa Western Community College in Council Bluffs, Iowa.
