Rolf Tomas Nossum obtained his PhD from the University of Oslo, and is a professor in the Department of mathematics at the University of Agder. He teaches computer science, mathematics, the history of mathmatics, and theory of science. His research concerns applied mathematical logic and the history of mathematics.
