I completed my master`s degree in "Sports Science and Health" at the University of Southern Denmark (Odense) in 2013. Same year, I started in a PhD position at Høgskulen på Vestlandet (Sogndal) in the Active Smarter Kids project, enrolled at the PhD programm at Norges Idrettshøgskole (NIH). The dissertation entitled "Cardiometabolic risk factors in children" was submitted in the summer of 2019, and was defended at NIH in 2020. In the autumn of 2020, I started in a 3-year postdoctoral position here at UiA.

Research interests

My research mainly deals with the association between physical activity and health in children and adolescents
