I did my undergraduate work in the US at Concordia College, studying philosophy and psychology. I received a Master's degree from the University of Agder in Religion, Society and Ethics. I am currently working on my Ph.D, which focuses on challenges and developments in the ethics of solidarity connected to globalization. 

Research interests

I am currently engaging the work of Avery Kolers and Richard Rorty to present and evaluate alternative concpetions of moral progress towards greater, global solidarity. I will be presenting an article based on this work to two research groups in September before submitting the article for publishing.
