Hanne Andersen Dversnes

I work as a university lecturer at the Department of Nutrition and Public Health. I teach in the teacher education program in food and health, as well as the bachelor's program in community-oriented nutrition. I have a master's degree in human nutrition from the University of Bergen, followed by practical pedagogical education. I have previously worked as a teacher in primary school, where I primarily taught food and health, physical education, and natural science. From January 2024, I will start as a PhD candidate in public health with a focus on the school subject of food and health. Here, I will investigate how different teaching practices in food and health can affect the learning process and food competence of students in 9th grade.
