Ahmad is a PhD candidate enrolled in a cotutelle/joint supervision program in cooperation between the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) and University of Agder. Prior to this, he completed his M.Sc. in Industrial Economics and Technology Management, specialising in entrepreneurship and decision-making. Also, he received his B.Sc. in Mechatronics engineering, specialising in mechanical engineering. Both degrees granted from the University of Agder. Relevant work experience includes being a business developer for a regional business incubator. Additionally, he has a consultancy firm that provides services within business development.
My research focus is on FinTech start-up ecosystems. More specifically, I am examining how support mechanisms or instruments function, what enables or constraints their success, and how do environmental contingencies influence their start-up process.
