Research on the complement system in rainbow trout related to the defense against parasites.

Academic interests

Research interests: The physiology and immunology of fishes, in particular their innate defenses. Lately, my study interests have centered around the salmon parasite Gyrodactylus salaris and the defense reaction against the parasite via the complement system.
