Academic interests

Main responsibility for the International Welding Engineer (IWE) training course. The course is intended to serve the students and industry with classroom lessons during 6 weekends over 11 months and gives 30 ECTS. Diplomas as IWE will be issued by Norsk Sveiseteknisk Forbund on behalf of International Institute of Welding (IIW).

The NODE cluster has requested UiA to take on the study.


I have worked with offshore oil and gas projects for several years, also internationally. The tasks have included qualification and follow up of vendors, construction management and marine operations.
