Siddharth Deshmukh received the B.E. degree in electronics and telecommunication discipline from National Institute of Technology, Raipur, India, in 2004, the M.Tech. degree from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, India, in 2006, and the Ph.D. in electrical engineering from Kansas State University, Manhattan, USA, in 2013.

Since Spring 2014, he has been a Faculty member in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, National Institute of Technology, Rourkela India. Before pursuing doctoral studies, he was working as research engineer at Centre for Development of Telematics, Bangalore, India from 2006 to 2010. In January 2019, he has joined the WISENET Center, University of Agder, Grimstad, Norway as a post-doctoral research fellow.

Research interests

Statistical signal processing, stochastic modelling, optimization control and algorithm design applied to communication systems.
