Interested in the design of ICT-enabled interventions in organizations and the bearing of digital technology on people and work systems. Research within three key themes: a) studies on the dynamics and governance of digital infrastructures, b) studies on the digitalisation and evolution of work processes and practices, and c) design-oriented studies with a sensitivity to user perspectives. A common focus across themes: data-driven value creation and the distribution of control over data. A brief CV can be found here.

AI4Users: Project manager and PI (2020-2024). The project is funded by the Norwegian Research Council and carried out by a partnership of three research institutions (UiA-leader, UiO, NTNU). AI4Users aims to strengthen the Responsible Use of Artificial Intelligence in public service delivery. The project takes a human-centred perspective for the development of tools and design principles to help users trust AI solutions. The novelty of AI4Users is that it targets specifically non-experts extending the reach of research beyond AI experts and data scientists.
Frida@Work: Workpackage leader and manager for UiA´s part (2020-2021). The project is funded by the Norwegian Labour and Welfare Administation (NAV) and carried out by a partnership of three research institutions (UiO-leader, UiA, NTNU). The focus of UiA´s part is on the interaction and handovers between NAV´s chatbot Frida and service employees.
