My main research focus is nutrition in early phases of life ranging from preconception, through pregnancy, childhood and adolescence in relation to health outcomes. Assessing dietary intake, developing interventions to improve diet of mother, child and adolescent in different settings as school and kindergarten, and investigating associations between intake and health and learning outcomes are core activities in my research and in the Priority Research Centre of Life Course Nutrition, which I lead. This Centre has in addition several research approaches to school meal, school food , the school subject Food and Health, and sustainability. I
