Dr. Hamid is involved in the TOPFORSK funded WISECART project
WISECART = Wireless Social Devices Enabled by Self-organized Spectrum Cartography
Mohamed Hamid holds a PhD degree from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, Sweden obtained in 2015. Prior to that, Dr. Hamid received the M.Sc. degree from BTH Blekinge Institute of Technology, Karlskrona, Sweden in 2009 and the B.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from University of Khartoum, Sudan in 2005. From 2010 to 2015, he was with the University of Gävle and the KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Communication System Lab, school of ICT and Wireless@kth, Sweden. In January 2016, Dr. Hamid joined WISENET Lab, University og Agder as a post-doctoral researcher. His research interests span over cognitive radio, spectrum management, D2D communication, heterogeneous wireless networks and traffic modeling.
