Fegran is a Registered Nurse and hold a MSc and PhD in Nursing Science. In addition to her position at the University of Agder, she has a part time position as research supervisor at the Children’s’ Department at Sørlandet Hospital.
Fegran is leader og the research group Health Promotion and Quality of Life in a Family Perspective (Heifa) at The Faculty of Health- and Sport Sciences. Ongoing projects are related to pain, sleep, asthma, psychosocial health and quality of life in children and adolescents, and some of the studies have a parental perspective as well. In addition, she f is a partner in the research group Patient Transfer and Transition (Pransit) with collaborators from Denmark and Sweden. Pransit is focusing on systematics reviews of patients’ transfers and transitions in various populations and contexts. Method competence is in qualitative research, systematic reviews, feasibility or intervention studies, and projects with technological solutions (e-health) are central.
