Lisa Annika Brandt

Assistant Professor

Bachelor in day-care education from Københavns Professionshøjskole (University College Copenhagen), after which I worked as a pedagogical leader in Norway. Master in Kindergarten knowledge (Early Childhood Education and Care) at University of Agder.

Research interests

Research groups:

  • Children's- and youth litterature

Courses and teaching

I mainly teach pedagogy at the education for kindergarten teachers.

  • Diversity, especially gender creative pedagogy
  • Environment and sustainability in the perspective of small children
  • Self-formation, citizenship, world citizienship 

Projects

Ongoing: Anne-Cath. Vestly-project (Antology) with research group Children`s and Youth Litterature. Editors: Agnes-Margrethe Bjorvand, Cecilie Cathrine Takle & Siv Terese Omland.

Ongoing (2023): "Kindergarten teachers' leadership of development and implementation processes in the Regional project for competency development in kindergartens". Together with Torild Marie Olsen (project lead), Eugene Guribye, Trine Smiseth Dale, Monica Endresen Barken & Silje Vegge.

Ongoing (2023): "Age homo- and heterogeneity in kindergarten groups". Independent research with some collaborations.

  • My masterthesis. Aims to answer following research question: How can an analysis inspired by Else Breen’s dichotomy in a literary and a functional critique help shed light on Linda Palms and Lisa Sollenberg’s Vennebøker (Friendbooks) as both a pedagogical and literary phenomenon?
