Lik Theng Ho

I have a master's degree in marine biology from the University of Southampton, UK on microalgae biotechnology. I have experience working as a visiting researcher growing microalgae and optimizing growth conditions at the University Technology Sydney, Australia. 

Currently, I joined Tove Gabrielsen's lab as a PhD felow at University of Agder. I'm working with the metabarcoding of bacterioplankton and protists summer communities in a newly established time series in southern Norway. I am also planning on working with in situ quantification of the nitrate transporter genes in Skeletonema spp. along a transect with a gradient of eutrophication and seasonality in Southern Norway to understand the regulation of nitrate transport genes in different nutrient levels.
