Kaia Elisabeth Paulsen Heslien

I teach within subjects related to food and nutrtion on several study programs. My teaching varies from practical kitchen sessions to classical leactures and more student active sessions.

I am a member of the priority research center Lifecourse Nutrition which focuses on food and nutrition from early development.

Research interests

I have experience with quantitative research regarding how serving of a free healthy school meal can promote healthy eating habits among school children in the age 10-12 years old. 

Courses and teaching

Most of my teaching is on the bachelor program for nutrition and on subjects related to food and nutrition in teacher education (school and kindergarden teachers)
