I am interested in the data governance phenomenon, explicitly investigating it within the eHealth context. My research interests encompass the need to break down the data silos in eHealth information infrastructures and interlink novel streams of patient-generated healthcare data with medical data trapped in legacy silo IT systems.

Research interests

My research comprises the relationship between data governance, patient-generated healthcare data, digital platforms and digital infrastructures, within the eHealth context. Due to the multi-disciplinarity characterizing this research, I am enrolled in two research centers: Centre for eHealth and Centre for digital transformation.

Work experience

I hold a master’s degree in “E-business management” from “University Ss. Cyril and Methodius” in Skopje, North Macedonia. My master’s thesis was titled “Integrating eHealth platforms and organizational information systems – ‘Moj Termin’ in the Republic of North Macedonia”, looking into the challenges of integrating the national eHealth platform with the digital infrastructure in the healthcare sector.

I also have ~4 years of industry experience, working in the IT sector as well as at a UK healthcare service provider. My experience under the job role of digital marketing manager was cross-disciplinary, including website development, QA software testing, graphic design, digital marketing and online advertising.
