Anine Christine Medin

Medin graduated as a Clinical Nutritionist/Registered Dietitian (Master degree in Nutrition) from the University of Oslo in 2007. She has several years of experience working in hospitals with patients with morbid obesity (both conservative treatment and bariatric surgery). Management experience from the hospital sector. PhD degree from the University of Oslo within dietary research (Nutritional Epidemiology) from 2018. Teaching and research are primarily within the field of public health nutrition.

Her research interests include:

  • Advancing nutritional epidemiology through improved dietary assessment methodology.
  • Diet, food and eating habits, with a particular focus on children, adolescents, and young adults in addition to sustainable eating habits.
