Amy has a bachelor's degree in Psychology (Kinnaird College). She has two master degrees; first in Industrial Relations & Human Resource Management (University of Sydney), and the second in Business Management (a collaboration between BI - Norwegian Business School, IFP Energies Nouvelles, and ESCP Europe Business School).
In total, Amy has 18 years of professional work experience in diverse multinational corporations and in 2016 Amy started with her first company. From a long-term perspective and considering the entrepreneurial finance challenges, she thereby got interested in Crowdfunding and is currently pursuing her PhD within the field at the University of Agder (UiA).
Amy is affiliated with the University of Agder's Center of Entrepreneurship and Crowdfunding Research Center. In addition, she actively participates in several other think tanks to promote entrepreneurship in general, and especially for immigrants/refugees.
As part of her academic activities, she teaches at Norway's first Crowdfunding Lab - a Master level course ORG 475 with 7.5 ECTS, as well as Entrepreneurship - a Bachelor level course MA 155 with 7.5 ECTS. Both courses are offered at the University of Agder Campus however, she also holds customized seminars and workshops around the world in collaboration with other universities, incubators, and accelerators.
