Work experience

I have been teaching mathematics in both primary and lower secondary school after completing my teacher education.

From spring 2020 I have been a PhD Research Fellow at the University of Agder under supervision of Cengiz Alacaci, Hans Kristian Nilsen and Unni Wathne. In my PhD project I am inquiring into how working with resources for teaching mathematics can afford proffesional growth for student mathematics teachers. An overaching goal of the study is to address the gap between university and workplace learning and further, to contribute to better alignment of the knowledge development that takes place within the universities and schools.
