Alireza holds the PhD degree in ICT, the MSc in Wireless Communications, and the BSc in Electrical Engineering. He joined the ICT department of UiA in 2011. He has been working at UiA for the past 7 years, having different roles and titles, ranging from PhD fellow and Project Developer, over Associate Professor, and up to Postdoc and Project Leader.
He has wide expertise in data science, signal processing, stochastic data modelling, forecasting, and data-driven business/technical value creation. As an ICT expert, he has hands in wireless communications systems (LTE and 5G), IoT services, vehicular technology, automotive radar technology, detection algorithm design, and ICT-based healthcare solutions.
He works proactively to transform innovative ideas into practical solutions and technical architectures of high performance. I welcome new challenges and collaboration opportunities. He is also involved in many voluntary activities, ranging from TEDx and Red Cross to reviewing technical papers and chairing international conferences.

He is experienced in project development and leadership with successful track records of creating project plans from A to Z, granted competitive external funds, establishing strategic partnership at national and international levels and across multi-functional teams.
He is the main developer of the WiCare^Pre project, also the main developer and co-leader of the main WiCare project, both funded by NFR. He has also developed several other successful project proposals in collaboration with UiA’s partners at both national and international levels. He has also been involved in some EU (FP7 and H2020) projects.
He has world-class publications in level-II journals and conferences with more than 130 citations, as well as a PhD thesis consist of 8 peer reviewed journal papers, and a couple of book chapters.
