York St John University is located in the historic city of York in north-east England. The origins of today's university were established in 1841 and have a fascinating history. There are courses that will suit students in most study programs at the Bachelor level. With only around 6,500 students and a fantastic location in the city center, it is easy to feel at home.
York has around 200,000 inhabitants and has a good selection of cafes, theaters, and museums. With good and fast train connections to major cities such as Leeds, Newcastle, and Manchester, it is impossible to get bored!
UiA has 8 Erasmus + grants in one semester each and students from all disciplines can apply for these. In addition, we can send an unlimited number of students on Study Abroad, the tuition fees for one semester will be £ 5,738 in 2020/21.
Credits and Modules
In England, the normal workload is four modules per semester, and a 15 UK credit module is the same as 7.5 Norwegian credits. Please note that some modules which are 30 UK credits go over two semesters and are only open to students who will be there for a year.
