The university is on the outskirts (about 5 km) of the city of Limerick and has approximately 18 000 students. Limerick is the fifth biggest city in Ireland and was Ireland’s culture capital in 2014.
UiA has nine Erasmus spots per semester for students that wish to study subjects within the fields of Arts, Humanities and Social Science.
Credits and Modules
University of Limerick uses ECTS credits that correspond to UiA´s study point system. Thirty ECTS credits therefore correspond to thirty study points at UiA and make up to one full-time semester. Click here to find the course overview.
Housing
The university has a good selection of housing, and they provide off-campus accommodation and on-campus accommodation. Students will be offered housing by UL upon admission.
Please note that it is important to select your housing of choice as early as possible (as soon as you have been granted a place), as these are in high demand.
