The University of Deusto was founded in 1886 and is located in the Basque Country- innermost part of the Bay of Biscay. The university consists of two campuses - the main campus in Bilbao and a smaller one in San Sebastian. The university is among the leading Spanish research and educational institutions. There are approximately 9,500 students, of whom about 1,000 are international students. Deusto Business School was accredited by the AACSB in 2021.
Bilbao is a wonderful city with endless dining options, stylish architecture, wonderful nature scenery, all most importantly a renowned university that characterise the city.
San Sebastian is a miniature world metropolis. You can eat "pintxos" (tapas) in the charming old town, shop in the majestic19th-century square, or take a bath along the beaches of the bay "La Concha". San Sebastian is rich in gourmet meal experiences, it is home to three of Spain's seven 3-star Michelin-starred restaurants.

Credits and Modules
30 ECTS is equal to 30 ECTS credits at the University of Agder.
The university offers a few courses in English but the majority is in Spanish. The university offers intensive courses in Spanish, but it is recommended that you have some knowledge of the language before you travel.
Free Spanish courses are offered:
Intensive course before the start of the semester. Provides 5 ECTS credits.
Students at Deusto must be prepared for the exams to be held in January. In certain cases, UiA can arrange for the exam to be held in the campus here (provided that the university offers this opportunity). Information about costs and the application process can be found here.
