The Southern Danish Conservatory of Music (SDMK), also called the Danish National Academy of Music, has a campus in both Odense and Esbjerg.
Odense city has a population of approx. 200,000 and is one of Denmark's oldest cities. The city had its 1,000th anniversary in 1988. Odense is a modern university town with about 30,000 students.
Esbjerg is one of Denmark's youngest cities with a unique location on the west coast of Jutland, where the North Sea meets the Wadden Sea. It is not a very big city and you can easily get around by bike.
