Metoch's 30th Anniversary

This year marks 30 years since the monastery annex Metochi was put into use as a study centre for UiA. It will be recognised and celebrated with various events at Metochi in week 24. Everyone is most welcome!

Practical info

Accommodation: There is a limited number of accommodation places at Metochi. A good alternative is the hotel in Skala Kalloni (3.5 km from Metochi).

Costs: The seminar days and the anniversary celebration on Saturday (and the meals in connection with this) are covered by the anniversary. Travel and accommodation are covered by the individual.

Travel: There are direct charter flights with Apollo from Oslo to Mytilini (MJT) on Sundays. There are also direct flights from Oslo to Athens with Aegean Airlines, SAS and Norwegian and local flights from Athens to Mytilini, including with Aegean Airlines. From Kristiansand, there are flights via Copenhagen or Amsterdam. UiA employees may book their flights with Berg-Hansen as usual, and also charter tickets with Apollo.
