The international engagement of the Agder region is the topic of the first Global Lunch on Thursday, February 15th at 1130 in Global Lounge.
Global Lunch is one of the new activities launched in connection with UiA’s Global Mindset focus area. Our first guest will be the international coordinator of Aust Agder County Municipality, Lars Holmer-Hoven. He will give a presentation of Agder region’s international engagement.
- The main goal of Global Lunch is to create an informal dialogue on internationalization at the local, regional, national and international levels. We aim at inviting internal and external experts, guests and delegations, researchers and interest groups to give short presentations once every month, says Dmytro Yakovenko from the Division of Research Management.
After the presentation there will be an opening for questions and discussion.
- Coffee and tea will be served. Bring your own lunch and drop in at Global Lounge in vrimlehallen on Thursday, mentions Yakovenko.
The next Global Lunch will take place on Thursday, March 9th with Jan Erik Mustad, Associate Professor at the Department of Foreign Languages and Translation, and Sean Taylor, Professor in history at Minnesota State University Moorhead.
