The Natural History Museum and Botanical Garden in Agder is located in Kristiansand in Vest-Agder County.
The museum was founded in 1828 as part of Kristiansand Katedralskole, named Kristiansand Museum.
The botanical garden consists of nearly 2000 plants including exotic pitcher plants framing the garden, carnivorous plants, and herbs.
The botanical garden has a children playground. A forest cabin with bonfire can welcome up to 30 guests and can be rented upon request to the museum. There are outdoor musical instruments close to the cabin.
In the botanical garden there is flowering from early spring to late autumn, so always a beautiful plant or a flower to rest your eyes on. Welcome!
