There is increasing interest among the practitioners, entrepreneurs, policy-makers and researchers in water - lakes, sea, rivers - as source for well-being and care. This issue will be discussed also during the Nordic Conference on Nature-based interventions and Green Care in Kristiansand by Pia Smeds. Given that this topic is now strongly emerging in different ways and channels, we got an opportunity to organise a small workshop on this topic after the official Nature based intervations and Green Care conference in Kristiansand.
During the workshop we will explore the state of the art of blue well-being and care activities and its relations to other nature-based activities, and identify ongoing or possible collaboration across Nordic and Baltic countries. This workshop is related to a Nordic Project " Nordic Road Map for Blue Bioeconomy" (see: http://bluenordic.fi).
The workshop is on Thursday 1st of November at 14-17, Scandic Hotel (same as conference) open and free for everyone to participate. In order to ensure you will have a cup of coffee/tea and sandwich, drop an email to firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com by 23th of October.
