Welcome to the 2022 IAREP SABE conference in Kristiansand, Norway
We are pleased to announce that the IAREPSABE conference will be hosted by The School of Business and Law at the University of Agder (UiA). This is an interdisciplinary meeting point of scholars who are interested in the intersection of economics and psychology, as well as sociology, anthropology, neuroscience, and biology.

Keynote speakers
The conference programme will consist of parallel sessions, a poster session, and keynote lectures. The IAREP conference is the host of the annual Kahneman lecture. In 2022, this lecture will be given by professor Barbara Mellers (homepage) from the University of Pennsylvania. The conference will also host the annual Herbert Simone lecture. More information about this will be published soon.
Parallel sessions on Friday and Saturday (June 11th and12th) will last for 90 minutes and are planned to include four presenters. Parallel sessions on Sunday (June 13th) last for 120 minutes and are planned to include 5-6 presenters. The total time allotted to each presenter? is 22 minutes including time for questions and discussion with the audience. Each presenter should leave 3-5 minutes for questions.
The presentation language is English
All presenters must respect the time limit and pay attention to the signals from the session chair.
You should bring your presentation on a USB flash drive and copy your presentation onto the computer in good time before the session. There are computers with MS Windows available in each room. Only PDFs or MS PowerPoint (*.ppt or *.pptx) presentations will be accepted.
If there are more of fewer presenters than planned, the available time should be divided equally between the presenters. The last presenter is kindly asked to chair the session.
Poster presentation guidelines
Poster presenters are required to bring their printed poster to the conference. All posters should be mounted well in advance in the room of the poster session. Pins/needles will be provided.
A short and precise 2-3 minutes presentation is required per poster. The presenters must be available to present their poster during the poster session.
The poster/presentation language is English
The poster should be size A0 and in vertical format.
Posters must be collected before closure (lunch Sunday the 13th of June).
Venue
University of Agder (UiA)
The conference will take place at the University of Agder's campus in Kristiansand. The campus is easy to reach from the city center of Kristiansand.
UiA has 13 000 students and 1300 faculty and staff members. It is one of the youngest universities in Norway, but its history dates back to 1839 when the first teacher training institution in the region was established. It is a public university with state-of-the-art buildings on both campuses (in Kristiansand and in Grimstad). Research is the foundation of all teaching activities at UiA and covers a wide variety of disciplines.
The School of Business and Law is one of UiA's six faculties. The school was AACSB accredited in 2019.

About Kristiansand
Kristiansand is known as the 'capital of southern Norway'. The city has beautiful nature close by, being the rough seaside and isles to the south and the wide forest surrounding the rest of the city. Kristiansand has also a variety of museums, galleries, and Norway's largest zoo and amusement park.

Travelling
By air
Kristiansand airport is called Kjevik (KRS). There are direct flights to Kjevik from Copenhagen, Amsterdam and London. There are also frequent domestic flights to Kjevik from Oslo, Bergen, Stavanger and Trondheim.
By boat
Kristiansand lies right beside the sea and is therefore also accessible by boat. Ferries go between Kristiansand and Hirtshals (Denmark) and various cruiseships call on Kristiansand harbour every year. For more info about the harbour, ferries, and cruises see: Kristiansand harbour
By train
The Norwegian railway company operates all lines in Norway. Trains run directly between Kristiansand and Oslo (about 4.5 hours), and between Kristiansand and Stavanger (about 3 hours). Tickets can be bought online and more information can be found on the website of Go-Ahead.
By bus
Outside Kristiansand: There are various buscompanies catering for travellers who travel longer distances departing from or arriving in Kristiansand. Information can be found on the following websites:
