På møtet i Universitetsstyret i 17. oktober 2018 ble det i forbindelse med behandling av LUF 1 – Program for utdanningskvalitet vedtatt (Saksfremlegg 115/18, s. 5):
Det anbefales at Program for utdanningskvalitet administreres i et samarbeid mellom Senter for læring og undervisning og Studieavdelingen, og under ledelse av viserektor for utdanning.
Det er universitetets utdanningsutvalg som fastsetter kriteriene for tildelinger av prosjektmidler i Program for utdanningskvalitet, jamfør mandat for universitetets utdanningsutvalg - fastsatt av universitetsstyret 15.05.2019.
Announcement of project funds
Framework for the announcement of internal project funding at the Programme for Educational Quality at UiA 2024
Project funding is announced and will be distributed among internal projects under the Program for educational quality (PRUK) in 2024-25.
The project shall promote the quality of education.
The project must be related to one of the following of UiA's strategic initiatives for education:
Ensure that our study programs have a high degree of varied student-active and practice-oriented learning
Develop innovative teaching and assessment methods that contribute to good learning.
The approach must contribute to a good learning environment.
Students will be involved in the development or implementation of the initiative.
The education offered can be either a program or a single subject.
Up to NOK 200 000 per project may be applied for. Both academic and administrative staff may apply.
Content of the application:
If there are similar projects/research activity, describe how it will be further developed on results/experiences from these.
Details related to the application process and assessment of the applications:
The PRUK funding has a joint call for proposals, with an application deadline of 15 February 2024.
If there are several departments or faculties applying together, it must be stated which faculty is the «main owner».
The decision on allocation is made by the Vice-Rector for Education, the head of UiA PULS, the Director of Education and a student representative proposed by STA.
How to apply:
Applications must be filled in and submitted using UiA's registration system Pindena.
The total application text shall not exceed the equivalent of approximately 4 pages in Word with normal font, line spacing 1.5.
When the application has been submitted, a confirmation email about the received PRUK application will be sent.
Until February 15 at 23:59, applicants can make changes to their application.
A link to the change form can be found in the confirmation sent to applicants. Remember to select "Update" in the bottom right corner to submit your changes. After the update, the applicant will be sent a new confirmation email about the application received.
Reporting, impact and dissemination
Projects awarded funding must submit a progress report, accounts and a final report.
Content and products from the project must be free to share, reuse and further develop.
Applicants who receive support may be contacted in connection with the presentation of the project, for example in connection with academic meetings/seminars at UiA.
A poster or a short video of maximum 5 minutes must be made as a presentation of experiences from the project work, for publication on UiA's website.
The project will be presented at a workshop for sharing experience.

January 1, 2024: It is emphasized that it is possible to apply for funding for further development of previous projects that deal with the development of education quality.
In other words, it is not only "brand new projects" that can apply for funding under this year's call.
