The Government has determined that all employees shall work from home if possible. The main rule at UiA is that staff continue to work from home. Faculty directors and Department directors can allow employees to work on campus.
Transport to and from work
Employees are encouraged not to use public transport. Core time has been lifted to allow flexibility to employees who have to travel on public transport to avoid the rush hour.
The general rule is that meetings at UiA must be conducted online.
In case of a physical meeting, you have to use the 1 meter social distance.
Internal meetings in departments is recommended to be held in meeting rooms within the department. Meetings with more than 10 people or that gather participants from different units must be conducted online. Faculty directors and departmental directors can give exceptions for meetings limited to 10 people with external participants and for meetings that gather participants from different units.
If the meeting is held face-to-face
Participants must be recorded should contact tracing become necessary. An Outlook invitation or meeting minutes including a list of participants is sufficient.
Group composition must be considered to avoid that a whole group performing the same function falls ill at the same time. HSE manager can be consulted if needed.
Meetings may be held outdoors to reduce the risk of infection.
Events and gatherings
All forms of teaching, events and other activities involving physical contact between persons at UiA's campuses, must be in compliance with UiA's guide to prevent transmission of covid-2019, with a maximum limit of 10 participants. Faculty directors and Department directors can give exceptions for meetings limited to 10 people with external participants and for meetings that gather participants from different units.
