Internship

The School of Business and Law at UiA offers students relevant work experience, both locally and internationally.

What is an internship?

An internship provides students with the opportunity to work in a professional setting performing tasks relevant to their area of study. Students receive 15 ECTS credits and also gain valuable professional experience and make connections in their professional fields. Participating private and public enterprises have been selected by the School of Business and Law at UiA, and the students will receive regular supervision throughout. Internships are part of elective courses on several master’s programmes at the School of Business and Law at UiA. Limited number of places available. Read the course descriptions below.

How are internships implemented?

The selection of candidates for internships is based on individual applications with academic transcripts, motivational letter, CV and interview. The School of Business and Law at UiA will endeavour to match the skills of the relevant student to the needs of the participant enterprise. Internships take place in the autumn semester of the final year and consist of 300 hours of work in a host enterprise and 100 hours of work on a final report.
