In 2019, the UiA School of Business and Law was accredited by the American organisation Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business, AASCB.
The School of Business and Law being accredited ensures that you as a student receives:
Internationally recognized education and teaching
A continuous focus on quality work on all levels
An opportunity to go on exchange to other accredited institutions around the world
A diploma of greater professional standing. We are one of only two business schools in Norway who have this accreditation
As an employer, the accreditation means:
Graduated students of international quality
Continuous updates of the content in our educations
An external certification of our educations in business administration
AACSB is a global organisation with over 800 accredited members from 54 countries. Globally, around 18,000 institutions offer an education in business at bachelor's level or higher. Previously, BI was the only institution in Norway with this accreditation.
Accreditation by AACSB requires a thorough external examination of the business school's education, research, funding, cooperation with the business sector and PhD programmes, as well as a number of other requirements. In addition to the School of Business and Law providing extensive documentation, AACSB also visited the School of Business and Law twice to be sure that it had everything
The School of Business and Law wants to ensure that our activities have a positive impact on our stakeholders. We monitor our impact in annual impact assessments.
