The Department of Psychosocial Health educates students in health care, psychosocial health, family therapy, sexology and psychosocial work with children and young people.

Some key research areas are municipal health work, where both the users 'and employees' experiences are in focus, and dialogical practices.

The institute collaborates with educational and research environments both nationally and internationally, and has extensive cooperation with both private companies, non-governmental organizations, user-controlled centers, municipalities and hospitals in the region. In particular, we will highlight the cooperation through UNIK - a university clinical collaboration on mental health and substance abuse.
