Visit to Gnessin School of Music in Moscow

In January, flutists Jørn Eivind Schau, Anne Randi Haugejorden and pianist Cordula Hacke from the Faculty of Fine Arts at UiA were invited to the Gnessin School of Music in Moscow.

Along with colleagues from the Tschaikovsky Conservatory, the Marijnski Theatre St. Petersburg and other international guests, Cordula Hacke and Jørn Eivind Schau were invited as jury members for the prestigious Gnessin Competition for Young Artists.

Together with Anne Randi Haugejorden, they took part in a series of concerts and master classes throughout the competition week.

This invitation also started a cooperation process between UiA and the Tschaikovsky Conservatory, one of the world’s leading institutions in music education.
