This year’s student elections will take place between 03rd of May and 10th of May 2021.
This year’s student elections to the boards of the university’s faculties, including the Teacher Education Unit and the School of Business and Law, AND to the Student Parliament will take place between 03rd of May and 10th of May.

Candidates must register their names with the Student Organization of Agder (STA) no later than 19th of April 2021. Running is voluntary and if you send in a candidate form on behalf of others, they must have been asked beforehand.
Those elected occupy their positions from 01st of July 2021 to 30th of June 2022 in the Student Parliament, and from 01st of August 2021 to 31st of July 2022 in the faculty boards/board of the teacher education unit. You will find information about how to stand for election and the candidate form at www.stastudent.no/valg
Important dates:
- 08th of March – 19th of April: Candidates must come forward and enter their names.
- 19th of April, 2 pm.: Last chance to make a complaint if you are not registered on the election roll.
- 03rd of May, 10 am – 10th of May, 2 pm.: The election period. The election will be carried out electronically. Voting period, all students at UiA cast their vote.

NB: In order to vote you must be a registered student registered on the election roll (manntallet).
If you are not registered on the election roll, you will not be able to vote. You are yourself responsible to check if your name is on the election roll. You can do this until 19th of April, 2 pm. You check your election roll registration in the voting room.
