Students from UiA participating in ECAL Festival in Leipzig, Germany

The Trio Sørlandet with three students from the Department of Classical Music and Music Education of UiA is one of them.

Prof. Cordula Hacke who is coaching the Trio, says:
“They will have the honour of performing in some of Europe’s most famous halls:
- Musikhochschule Leipzig, Großer Saal
- Grieg Begegnungsstätte
- Schumann Haus
With overall 30 concerts in Leipzig and its metropolitan area (Köthen, Halle, Zwickau), this is a unique showcase for highly talented young European chamber music ensembles to share their musical experiences in one of the most prominent musical centres in Europe, to celebrate their mutual European heritage, and to project the European ideals of today and the future.”
