Continued collaboration on EEA project in classical music

The Department of Classical Music and Music Education at UiA and the Academy of Music in Poznan, Poland, continue the good collaboration in a new project on inclusion and distance learning.

The launch of the new EEA project EDU-ACTION 22/23: Educational strategies supporting inclusion and distance learning took place during a press conference at the end of January this year.  

The press conference at The Ignacy Jan Paderewski Academy of Music, in Poznan, Poland marked the end of the EEA project EDU-ACTION 20/21: Nurturing Excellence, and the beginning of the new collaboration between the Music Academy in Poznan and the Department of Classical Music and Music Education at the University of Agder. During the press conference, monographs and other publications from last year's project were presented. 

Music publications in braille 

The new EEA project on educational strategies that support inclusion and distance learning was approved in the autumn of 2021 and will start in the spring of 2022. 

The new project will include the publication of a new monograph and music publications in braille. In addition, instructional films with master classes, lectures, and the development of career guides for music and art students are important outcomes. 

UiA first partner 

The Department of Classical Music and Music Education at UiA is appointed first partner in the new project.  Professors Jørn Schau and Robin Rolfhamre are the Norwegian project leaders. Professor Ewa Murawska at The Ignacy Jan Paderewski Academy of Music is the project's manager on behalf of the academy as project promotor.
