	01 December	Deadline for applications for programmes starting in January 2024 and for international applicants from outside the EU to English taught bachelor’s and master’s programmes.

10 January	Selection period for minor subject selection and elective courses in the teacher training programmes.
20 January	Deadline for application to elective courses in the 2024-25 teacher training programmes. Deadline for application to minor subject in bachelor’s programmes for the 2024-25 academic year.
01 February	Local application process opens on Søknadsweb for international applicants from countries in the EU to apply to select English taught bachelor’s and master’s programmes starting in autumn 2024. ordinary applicants for programmes starting in autumn 2024
01 February	Deadline for applications for external candidates.
01 February	Deadline for registering for classes, registering for examinations (incl. referred and deferred examination), and confirming the education plan for the spring semester.
01 February	The Norwegian Universities and Colleges Admission Service (Samordna Opptak) opens for applications for undergraduate programmes starting in autumn 2024.
15 February	Deadline for applications for international exchange.
19 February- 01 March	Main period for midterm and deferred examinations and examinations following block teaching.
20 February	Deadline for registering possible new student representatives.
25 February	The result of the selection of minor subject and elective courses in teacher training programmes is published.
01 March	Deadline for applying to early admission admission based on prior learning and work experience admission on special grounds applicants with credentials from non-Nordic countries applicants from EU countries to study programmes taught in English admission based on specific recognition
04-08 March	Main period for midterm course evaluations.
13 March	Open Day for secondary school pupils is organised in Kristiansand. Some teaching activities in Kristiansand are cancelled.
15 March	Deadline to apply for special examination arrangements for spring exams.
25 March-01 April	Easter holiday
Beginning of April	Deadline for nominating student representatives to the faculties/Teacher Education and Student Parliament
05 April	The result of minor subject selection in bachelor’s programmes is published.
15 April	Deadline for applications for most study programmes (local and Samordna opptak (Norwegian Universities and Colleges Admission Service)).
April	Elections for student representatives to faculties/Teacher Education and Student Parliament
06-31 May	Main examination period for ordinary examinations.
May	Election of student representatives for the University Board.
10 June	Studentweb opens for the autumn semester.
15 June	Schedules for autumn 2024 are published.
