Associate Professor Marit Tøndel Bodsberg Weyde is an instrument teacher in ensemble singing at the Department of Classical Music and Music Education.

Marit Tøndel Bodsberg Weyde earned her degrees at the University of Agder, Department of Classical Music and Music Education, and the Norwegian Academy of Music. She is the conductor and artistic leader for Kilden Vocal Ensemble housed by the Kilden Theatre and Concert House. Besides being artistic leader and conductor for Den Norske Studentersangforening and Kvindelige Studentersangforening at the University of Oslo, she has taught conducting at the Norwegian Academy of Music for several years. She has also taught conducting at the national talent development programme (TUP) at the University of Agder. On behalf of Koralliansen, Interkultur and the Norwegian Choir Association, she regularly holds seminars, workshops and masterclasses for both conductors and singers. Bodsberg Weyde is an experienced jury member of national and international choir competitions. As a singer, conductor and flautist, she has participated in several recordings. Moreover, she has won noticeable choir competitions, nationally and internationally.
