The audition lasts for 30 minutes. Applicants who pass the music performance presentation proceeds to an interview. The interview lasts for about 10 minutes.
During the audition, the applicant is to perform a 20 minutes selection of their full repertoire. The applicant can themselves decide what to perform during the audition. The level of difficulty of the audition programme should correspond to a final examination programme for a Bachelor’s degree or similar. The selected repertoire should reflect the intended specialisation-area.
The specialisation-area will be in focus during the interview.
The applicant must bring three copies of the sheet music they perform during the audition.
The applicant must organise for the accompaniment themselves, if needed. Internal applicants should use their assigned accompanists during the auditions. External applicants must organise the accompaniment themselves, but, when necessary, the Department of Classical Music and Music Education can suggest possible local accompanists.
