Our Department of Classical Music and Music Education at the Faculty of Fine Arts offers unique programs within the classical music tradition for performers, educators and in classical music mediation. Bachelor’s and master's levels, doctoral degrees through the faculty's PhD program and a variety of in-depth fields within the Master’s program as well as research activities make this an excellent place to study.

The course offers good opportunities to make contacts both regionally, but also nationally. You get the opportunity to develop on stage in professional settings, and on several occasions we have also been able to perform in Kilden. The study programme offers a wide scope of subjects, and you get to develop both “theoretically” and “practically” during the years here in Kristiansand. >
