Important information regarding COVID-19 at the Faculty of Fine Arts
Updated 15.01.2021
All teaching will be carried out digitally until 22. January 2021, however campus will remain open and it will be possible to use the rehersal rooms. You can find more information about this in Canvas.
This semester, the use of QR codes is introduced in the teaching rooms. QR codes for infection tracking are pasted on each place in the classrooms, following the same pattern as the green marks from this autumn that mark the seats with an adapted distance. You use the camera on your mobile to register. As a consequence of the QR marking, there will now be no opportunity to move chairs and / or desks in the classrooms. Work is also being done on a mobile test center for employees and students, but it is still uncertain whether this will be possible.
We encourage you to continue with the good routines we have established, and not come to campus if you have symptoms.
In this situation, it is important that all students take personal responsibility for their own progression as far as possible. Students must actively stay informed on changes in the educational options through Canvas and www.uia.no/timeplan.
The locations will be facilitated so that students and employees can keep one-meters distance.
We kindly ask everyone to wash their hands thoroughly, and use the antibac dispensers outside the rooms.
I fyou should experience any deviations to the regulations, please inform øysten.n.flemmen@uia.no
We recommend to bring your own equipment
The Faculty of Fine Arts recommend the students to bring their own equipment to the lectures. Especially microphones, but also other equipment when possible.
If you are unable to bring your own equipment, you can borrow at the university. You caan find the rules here.
