MA-607 Research Methodology in Mathematics Education. Spring 2023:
In Spring 2023 we are trialling a new format for the presentation of the course based on session in which participants can be present in the classroom or participate remotely via Zoom, and at the end a course week during which it is hoped all participants will be physically present.
The intention is to cut participants’ expenses and travel and offer a course that is well-distributed throughout the semester.
At the end of the course, participants will be asked to evaluate their experiences of this format.
Week 4 Wednesday 25 January & Thursday 26 January – two full days - 08:30-16:30 each day. Physical attendance and/or remote participation (Zoom) will be possible.
Weeks 5 to 18 (excluding week 14 – Easter week) – Half day meeting every week, Wednesday afternoons - 12:15-15:30. Physical attendance and/or remote participation (Zoom) will be possible.
Week 19 Monday 8 May 13:00-16:30. Tuesday 9 May, Wednesday 10 May, and Thursday 11 May 08:30-16:30. Friday 12 May 08:30-12:00. Physical attendance will be expected by most participants this week.
